For all of those who want to know what all this ‘google wave’ fuss is about… here is a nice way to see it in action!

Now this is interesting!  It would ‘nearly’ make me switch to Android again…

Hero?

I’ve decided today to eBay the HTC Hero. I got it a couple of weeks ago from expansys as they tempted me with their £20 off ‘Friday Offer’.

I had the HTC G1 for a month or so earlier this year as I was very curious about the Android OS. I’m very much an iPhone fanatic but realise that there has to be competition in the marketplace or things won’t evolve. You could say that the touchscreen mobile phone was going nowhere before the iPhone turned up and that the other manufacturers are trying their very hardest to catch up.

Anyway, back to the Hero. It is much nicer than the G1 was and the thing I hated the most about the G1 was the keyboard and that I didn’t even have the option of an on-screen keyboard. The Hero has only an on-screen keyboard and very nice it is too!

It also has a great looking home screen (look on www.htc.com for pictures) and amazing social network integration. Apple is supposedly doing something with facebook integration in Snow Leopard so I’m hoping that filters down to the iPhone someday.

In a nutshell - if I didn’t have an Apple where my heart should be and I didn’t have a Mac at home - this would be my phone of choice.

Personas on Firefox

Second time I’ve tried it and this time it didn’t continuously crash my brower.  Made my existing theme (Office 2007 black) look messed up so have had to revert to the standard theme.  All works as it should now and have selected the Strata Black theme which is very Star Trek like!  Rainbow theme - I can’t decide if I’m undecided…

Door Sixteen » Time to wallpaper!

call me odd but I thought this was a great guide for wallpapering stuff.  A few people I know have got this so wrong lately…!!

Linux on a Mac

Wouldn’t it be nice if somebody brought out a build that was compiled specifically for the Mac? A bit like how the OSX discs have all the drivers that are needed. Even Apple do Windows drivers for when people use BootCamp.

The search continues….

a lovely video about my favourite - soon to be on the mac - browser… Chrome
